Hybrid Battery Sales & Services

Introduction

The Hybrid battery sales & services are primarily catered as a support for customers who have bought their Toyota hybrid vehicles from Red Sun Imports. However, these services are also provided to the general public & businesses as time and availability permits.

Note: Red Sun Imports only replaces or reconditions hybrid batteries on select Toyota & Honda vehicles. All other issues not related to the hybrid battery of the vehicle will need to be sent to a mechanic / repair garage by the owner.

Vehicle Support

We sell aftermarket hybrid battery packs for all hybrid Toyota & Honda models.

At this moment we are only focusing on servicing & installing hybrid batteries on limited models either LHD and RHD Toyota vehicles.

• Toyota Prius C, also known as Aqua.
• Toyota Prius.
• Toyota Prius V, also known as Prius Alpha (Wagon version of the Prius).
• Support of other Toyota models are coming soon.

Currently we do not offer hybrid battery installation services on Honda vehicles.

HYBRID BATTERY SERVICES

Hybrid Vehicle Scanning Service

We offer scanning of error codes of your Hybrid vehicle.

We offer 2 types of scanning services:

1. Scanning of the vehicle . Results from the scanning might include the descriptions of error codes of the hybrid system.
2. Battery health test. This is only available for Toyota hybrid vehicles. This will give us the approximate percentage of remaining life of the battery pack from 0% to 100%.

Battery Pack Reconditioning Service

We offer complete battery pack analysis & reconditioning service in one package.

Note: This service requires the hybrid battery to be removed from the car, disassembled, re-assembled and installed back in the car. This service takes at least 4 business days to complete.

We will not recondition a battery pack with the “replace hybrid battery error code” (PA080).

HYBRID BATTERY SALES & INSTALLATION

Reconditioned OEM Toyota Hybrid Battery Modules

For DIY customers & businesses  who want to buy separate modules.

• These batteries have undergone battery analysis and rebalancing services and are categorized according to their capacity in Amp-hours.
• Depending on the module’s capacity, voltages vary between 7.2 and 7.6 volts.
• Customers can be purchase 1 module or as many as needed as long as we have in stock.
• Warranty is given depending on the module’s capacity.

Sale & Installation of New Aftermarket Cylindrical Battery Pack (a.k.a. Bamboo Sticks)

New aftermarket Ni-MH cylindrical battery packs .

• Installation is Fls. 350 extra.
• Lifespan: Approx. 3000 cycles, 5-7 years.
• Warranty: 3 years against manufacturing defects.
• Shipping time: 3 months when not in stock.
• Prices below are for Red Sun Imports who bought their hybrid cars from us. All other customers, please add 10% on top.

Sodium-Ion Battery Packs

This is our premium top of the line option. Red Sun Imports offers brand new Sodium Ion Phosphate battery modules. This type of battery offers 4 benefits:

  • Deliver an average peak power of 300Amps, compared to the 150Amps peak power from the standard NiMH battery giving you more instant power right out of the box..
